Eredar Twins

Eredar Twins Strategy — Sunwell Plateau

Phase 5 · Sunwell Plateau · 2-3 tanks, 6 healers, rest dps

Lady Sacrolash and Grand Warlock Alythess — a shared-health-pool council fight of shadow and fire. The two sisters must die within ~15 seconds of each other or the survivor casts Dark Touched / Flame Touched empowerment. The raid juggles their opposing shadow and fire mechanics simultaneously.

Fight phases

  1. 1

    Single phase

Tank Alythess (fire — Blaze under the tank, Conflagration, Flame Sear on the raid) and Sacrolash (shadow — Shadow Nova, Confounding Blow, Shadowfury) apart. Manage Shadow/Flame Touched debuffs (they amplify damage from the opposite school) and bring both twins low together for a simultaneous kill.

By role

Tanks

One tank per twin, separated. Alythess's Blaze pools fire under her tank — reposition constantly. Confounding Blow can daze Sacrolash's tank; have coverage. Two-tank the twins and keep them apart so their auras don't stack on the raid.

Healers

Flame Sear and Shadow Nova are constant, opposing raid AoE; the Touched debuffs mean a shadow-hit player takes extra fire damage and vice versa — a nasty compounding heal check. Pyrogenics and Conflagration add spikes. Heavy, sustained raid healing.

DPS

Balance DPS so both twins hit low together — kill them within the ~15s window or the survivor empowers. Watch your Shadow/Flame Touched debuff and avoid the opposite-school damage while it's up. Dodge Blaze and Shadow Nova.

Common mistakes

  • Killing one twin too early and letting the other empower.
  • Ignoring the Touched debuffs and eating amplified opposite-school damage.
