Fight phases

Single phase
Tank-swap Brutallus on Meteor Slash stacks. Melee stack behind for cleave healing; anyone who gets Burn runs out and passes it to a clean player, then rejoins. Burn him down before the ~6-minute enrage.
By role
Tanks
Two tanks swap on Meteor Slash — its stacking debuff makes each subsequent hit worse, so alternate who eats it. Stampeding Roar and heavy melee mean the tank takes serious punishment; keep both tanks topped.
Healers
This is the healing check of Sunwell. Meteor Slash splits among the front group (stack them to share it), Burn is constant spreading damage, and tank damage is relentless. Every healer at full uptime and mana efficiency — there is no downtime.
DPS
It's an enrage race — maximum uptime, Bloodlust/Heroism on cooldown or a planned window, no wasted globals. When you take Burn, step out and pass it to someone clean immediately, then get back on the boss. Positioning is simple; the DPS bar is the whole fight.
Common mistakes
- ✕Spreading Burn poorly and multiplying the healing load.
- ✕Missing the Meteor Slash tank swap and spiking a tank dead.
- ✕Simply not enough DPS to beat the enrage.
